Rajarata University of Sri Lanka’s Faculty of Management Studies has finished its yearly medical camp. The camp, which was held on July 19 and 20, 2023, at the faculty’s facilities, aimed to help university students and staff members identify and address health issues early on, thereby enhancing the community’s overall wellbeing. With the National Renal Disease Prevention & Research Unit’s assistance, this camp was run. Dr. Dilip H. Liyanage, its director, Grade 1 Nursing Officer Ms. M. A. C. Lanka, and Public Health Inspector of Renal Disease Prevention and Research Unit, Anuradhapura, R. H. Karunarathna, were also present. The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management’s Head, Mrs. KTNP Abeywickrama, and her hardworking staff expertly planned the event. Many additional staff members, including Vice Chancellor Prof. GAS Ginigaddara and Faculty Dean Prof. PMB Jayathilaka, received their health screenings during the camp.
